It's nearly here

5 days to go and Gemma's bouquet still not finished but it will be.

I am borrowing some jewellery from Gill, Dad and hopefully Patrick so she has something borrowed from her Grandmothers.

I will put them in her bouquet for her. She has a silver sixpence for her shoe and something new and blue. So all that is sorted.

Update

OK what has happened sine I last posted any thing.

Shoes

Still no shoes MEGA disappointment and worry there is only 60 or so days left before the wedding. at this rate I'll be walking Gemma down the isle in my bare feet or a nice pair of cream flip flops they are so comfy (only joking Gem).

The hair
Well I let it go change colour but now there is no longer any grey. Stuart has has used his magic hands again and now it is RED again.
The Flowers

I have made a buttonhole and a corsage for Sue's Mum (I hope she likes it).

I am just waiting on some different flowers then I can make up Sue's and my corsages. Gemma's bouquet is going to look super i think, I hope well of cause it will!!!

Just got to think what to do with Tom. Luke, Ross and James' buttonholes of cause theirs have to be slightly different from the other buttonholes and Ross and James have to have different than Tom and Luke. I'm getting into florist mode now my living room has boxes and cans with wires and tape.

Do you want a to see the stuff I've done so far? If you want me to make you something for the wedding just let me know. Here is the link for the flowers so far I will be adding more as I make them.

Gracie has offered to help so she is banned from the living room. Charlie just has a look and climbs on the couch and watches before he falls a sleep. (there the cats by the way).

Geek

Garry gave me a url for a Geek Quiz and asked me to have a go.
http://www.nerdtests.com/ft_cg.php?im
the results where very surprising to me. I am a Geek well a Mid-Level Computer Geek.

My computer geek score is greater than 79% of all people in the world! How do you compare? Click here to find out!

That's my plaque to show the world that computers are great and I spend more time here and I do with people.

My Health

Well I have a few health issues going on in my life and they get me down sometime. So having Seasonal Affected Disorder doesn't really help much. I am feeling much better today though.

I could sit here and write down everything that is medically wrong with me but that would just make me feel worse and make you depressed. Needless to say I wont be doing that.

What I will say is my voice really is this gravelly and nothing is going to change. That will make some people happy

The E.N.T. school Boy doctor (god I'm getting old) says that my chocking and coughing is all psychosomatic and I have to fix it myself. HOW?

Dr Jennings is back WooT I will see her soon and ask if she knows how I go about retraining my mind, also I will ask her if I can I start back a the gym, I have missed doing my exercise, I feel so fat and lazy.

I haven't even bother to do any measurement as I just know they will be bad.

Shoes

I have been to Evans and had a look at the wedding shoes in there, they only have 2 pairs

I was looking at them and Karen came over. Karen always helps me get my shoes in Evams.

I told her what I wanted and why, straight away she said that the closed toe shoe is the right shoe for me.

The back strap on the slingbacks is to far foward and would give to much trouble.

She is one of the reason i get and pay so much for my shoe from Evans, she never trys to sell me something that is not right for me jist to make a sale.

The closed toe shoe is £5 cheaper than the slingbacks.

MAJOR CATASTROPHY

My beautiful necklace has been mangled. (SCREAM!!!)

Don't know how or where.

I put the box in a draw in the bedroom on Tuesday evening after I saw Val so it wouldn't get damaged.

Garry found my necklace on the office floor between his desk and mine on Sunday afternoon. It took us a little while to realise what it was. Me being me just sat there and cried for a while and then got the box and cried more as is saw the box is totally empty.

We look all round the floor but there is no sign of my earrings or the extension chains Val gave me.

I don't think the necklace will ever lie flat again, nor does Stu. Stu is a Godsend he is going to make me a bracelet out of the necklace.

Garry said to just order a new set. I am really upset about this situation we can't afford that sort of money and I still have to find the money for my shows yet and they are going to be at least £35. I just don't know where all the money is going to come from.

A couple of people have asked me about getting a room for the night, I don't know what to say to them Gemma booked my room for me. I think there will be a few family members staying over night. So there will be company for me going home on the Saturday.

(please reader take no head of what I might say here; I am having a very bad S.A.D. day I am looking forward to the sun. what I need is one of those holidays in the sun paid for by the DSS like I used to hear about years ago ;-))). )

The Hair thingies

According to my pc there are 86 days, 1 hour and 13 mins to Gemma and Tom's wedding. Accoring to my Blog page there 87 days to go.

Still no shoes but I have ordered my fasinator. Now if I show you I might have to do you some bodily harm afterwards.

Oh OK then here it is:-

Oh dear that's not the right one. I tried that on at the Wedding Fayer in the Liverpool Echo Arena.

This is the right one now:-

Shucks not that one either that was another one I tried on at the wedding Fayer.

The sales lady said they look beautiful on. Now who was the blind person there?

Last chance to get it right:-

That's
the one.

Isn't it beautiful? Val is going to use stones that match my necklace and also me me a pair of stud earrings to got with it.

I am so excited!!!

TATOO Recolour

My beautiful blue rose keeps losing it's blue colour and in the last 7 years it have had to recould it.

So now I think I am going to hav to change it's colour totally. I have put a poll at the botton of this page I hope you will fill it in for me and help me make my mind up on a colour.
I can't have yellow as Norma already has a yellow rose and I don't do red roses at all.

If you think of another colour that is not in the list please email and let me know and if I like I will add it to the list.

I will post the new picture of the rose after the colour has been done. This is my Birday present to me as the21 April is my Birthday. So when I get up the poll will be over an the final colour will have been picked and the tatoo place already booked in advance.

I might even get my Mermade done at the same time so they will both be at there best at Gem's wedding.

My Dress and Stuff

My Jewellery
Well just before Christmas the Cliff Richard Fan Club sent me a link to their site for a new jewellery collection from the great man.

So I hot moused it over there and guess what the gems match the colours for Gemma's wedding supper.

The blurb says

Diamonds are represented by crystal, freshwater pearls symbolise the moonlight, and they are threaded with midnight blue iolite, sometimes known as water sapphire. They sparkle just like Midnight Diamonds! With matching drop earrings.

The pearls are the ivory coloured ones so everything is fitting in to place at the moment.

The Dress

Next my I had a phone call to say my dress had arrived. I am so excited. I rang Gemma straight away to see if she wanted to come with me for my 1st fitting.

We did that 2 weeks ago

I had lost more inches from when I ordered it so I must be doing something right somewhere.

After the dress we had lunch and then went to have a look at shoes. We found a beautiful pair that I could have worn all day (well may be not all day but while my feet where in view of people); but they cost £86!!!

They where gorgeous but just too expensive to buy for one day. (I’ll have to wait and see what Evans gets in and hope they have ivory shoes for the summer).

The Hair

I have to do something about my hair it's getting longer, it needs the clever hands of Stu to make it a nice red colour again. Whatever colour I do it now it will stay that colour for the wedding so my fascinator will look good in it. I will go and see the lady in Maghull her was very nice. I think Gemma said I was having my hair down as normally it is up.

I wonder how grey it would go if I left it till April? Gemma might disown me but I might just give it a go or untill I get scared of the colour

The GYM

I joined Gymophobics in July last year.

It is a gym for women only.

Instead of using the regular weights equipment it uses air pressure to add resistance to
the machines.

You have 3 minutes on each piece of equipment and there are 10 stages so you only exercise for 30 minutes a day.

In the gym they try to make you feel relaxed and you are not pressured into being the best on the circuit or the best dressed. You are not made to feel bad about how much weight you've put on or put on a pedestal for the weight that you have lost women here are all treated as equals. It is a fun and pleasant place to go to exercise and to relax, make new friends and get healthy; in a way that suits YOU. Gymophobics have women of all shapes and sizes, young and not so young, that is the beauty of the place they look after you and monitor your health as well. WHAT COULD BE BETTER

I haven't been able to go to the gym since the end of October due to my very high blood pressure.
I am hoping to get the all clear soon and when I do I will ask if I can start the programme again as if I where a new client.
I will have my weight taken and my BP read but I know that will be fairly OK or Dr J wouldn't let me go back. I can't wait I really miss going and meeting people.

The stretch machine is my favourite piece of equipment and the one thing I have really missed since I have stopped going to Gymophobics my back has been crying out to be stretched.
Falling down the stairs twice and hurting my back again doesn't help. What I wouldn't give for a dose of traction at the moment. That would sort my back out nicely. ;-)
