The GYM

I joined Gymophobics in July last year.

It is a gym for women only.

Instead of using the regular weights equipment it uses air pressure to add resistance to
the machines.

You have 3 minutes on each piece of equipment and there are 10 stages so you only exercise for 30 minutes a day.

In the gym they try to make you feel relaxed and you are not pressured into being the best on the circuit or the best dressed. You are not made to feel bad about how much weight you've put on or put on a pedestal for the weight that you have lost women here are all treated as equals. It is a fun and pleasant place to go to exercise and to relax, make new friends and get healthy; in a way that suits YOU. Gymophobics have women of all shapes and sizes, young and not so young, that is the beauty of the place they look after you and monitor your health as well. WHAT COULD BE BETTER

I haven't been able to go to the gym since the end of October due to my very high blood pressure.
I am hoping to get the all clear soon and when I do I will ask if I can start the programme again as if I where a new client.
I will have my weight taken and my BP read but I know that will be fairly OK or Dr J wouldn't let me go back. I can't wait I really miss going and meeting people.

The stretch machine is my favourite piece of equipment and the one thing I have really missed since I have stopped going to Gymophobics my back has been crying out to be stretched.
Falling down the stairs twice and hurting my back again doesn't help. What I wouldn't give for a dose of traction at the moment. That would sort my back out nicely. ;-)
